“There’s NO chance that the iPhone will get any significant market share. NO CHANCE. It’s a $500 subsidized item. They may make a lot of money, but if you actually take a look at the 1.3 billion phones that gets sold; I prefer to have our software in 60-80 percent in them then I would to have 2-3 percent – which is what Apple might get.” – Steve Ballmer Microsoft CEO, April 30, 2007
It was just a matter of time. The first worm created for the iPhone is now available at your local ‘jailbroken’ iPhone near you. If you have a jailbroken iPhone using Cydia running a Unix utility called SSH (Secure Shell) with the iPhone’s default password, “alpine,” You are vulnerable to this worm. This worm changes the victim’s wallpaper to a photograph of 80s singer Rick Astley and then seeks out other phones to infect. Here’s a link on how you can secure your phone.
The Dev Team has released their long awaited PwnageTool 3.1.3 for the iPhone 3GS 3.1 OS. Note that this is only to jailbreak your iphone not to unlock it. Here’s a step-by-step process in jailbreaking your device. Good luck and be sure to READ ALL disclaimers!

This would be a great opportunity for us – The iPhone Developer in Thailand team. We are fluent in English, Thai and Mandarin. That is one of our strong point – we can create apps for the English, Thai, AND the Chinese market. We plan to launch our new Chinese App by the end of this year. Huge market – Great opportunity!
I’ve done this so it works. iPhone 3G and iPod Touch owners can use the iPhone OS 3.1 video trimming feature. Obviously, you have to update to 3.1 – Send attachment of video format either through MMS or email to your 3G or iPod Touch device, save the attachment. View the attachment and trim away..
